CD Projekt Comment On Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings Trailer Leak

Rather than issue a string of cease and desist orders, CD Projekt instead sent over a simple statement, commenting on the Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings Announcement Trailer leak:
“Of course, we can’t and won’t try to deny the facts. The movie that appeared on the various sites yesterday presents our newest project, The Witcher 2, which we’ve been working on for some time. We made something about half year ago, to present the first playable version of the game.” said Adam Kiciński, CEO of CD Projekt RED. “Currently we are looking for a potential publisher (or publishers) for this title, and this leak is an uncontrolled side effect of that process. For today, we are not commenting on anything that concerns the game itself.”
More information about The Witcher 2 will be unveiled alongside the official announcement.

Vom Erstling war ich etwas enttäuscht, war aber trotzdem ein ordentliches Rollenspiel. Und das schaut mal sehr gut aus.

Eventuelle Konsolenfassung?

Würde mich insofern freuen, da ich meinen PC erstmal aufrüsten müsste und alles weitere. Also immer her damit.

Was ein genialer Trailer! Hoffentlich gibts diesmal eine Konsolenversion.

Ja, hoffentlich. Auf meinem lausigen PC tu ich mir The Witcher nicht nochmal an. Grafik schaut übrigens sehr stark verbessert aus und Lust auf mehr macht der Trailer auf jeden Fall.

Ich hoffe nur, dass dieses Schlauch-Leveldesign damit ein Ende hat. Ist schon frustrierend gewesen, über Grashalme nicht hinweg laufen zu können, weil dort eine unsichtbare Levelwand gewesen ist.

Hmm... stört mich z.B. nicht - mir ist es so lieber als eine aufgesetzte Freiheit. Der erste Teil ist imo eines der besten RPGs aller Zeiten freu mich daher auch schon richtig auf den Nachfolger.

CD Projekt has revealed during its spring conference today, that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will be heading to consoles as well as PC.
This means that for the first time, PS3 and Xbox 360 owners will be able to play as Geralt on their consoles – which confirms what senior producer Tomasz Gop told GRY-OnLine back in September of last year.
Originally, the first Witcher game was slated to land on consoles with the subtitle Rise of the White Wolf. However, it was canceled along with an unnamed Witcher project due to the economic climate forcing the studio make some cut-backs.
The Witcher 2 has been floating around for sometime now, but was only formally announced this week.
It’s slated for release in 2011
